Jimmy Wooten Trio

The Jimmy Wooten Trio is composed of his sister Laura Wooten on bass and long-time friend Cody Lowery on drums.

Seeing the Jimmy Wooten Trio live for the first time is an experience you will never forget. They possess a talent rarely seen in modern music. Coming from a family of professional musicians, Jimmy began playing at age 3. He started out on drums, but soon found the electric guitar. With influences like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc, he formed a style unique to him. By age 18 he began playing music professionally. He has toured from Los Angeles to London, England. With every tour came another life experience which fueled him the inspiration to share his music with the world. At a show you will expect to hear guitar played straight from the heart, and a soulful ferocity in his voice that will move you deeply. “When music plays it breaks cultural boundaries, unites us. Music heals the broken hearts of our world.”- Jimmy Wooten. Cody Lowery is also an accomplished musician, who started at the age of 10. Cody has traveled all over the United States playing at many bars and festivals. Cody played at the Portland, Oregon Water Front Blues festival, playing on the outdoor stage and also opening up for Marcia Ball on a small cruise ship. Cody had the honor of playing in Athens, Greece and Istanbul, Turkey backing up blues legend Hubert Sumlin ( Howlin’ Wolf/ Muddy Waters) Jay Davis ( Foreigner/Axis/Rod Stewart) Buddy Flett (A-Train/The Bluebirds). Jimmy along-side his dynamic band will have you out of your seat and attending future shows. This might be the first time you have heard of the Jimmy Wooten Trio, but it definitely won’t be the last…..
